I am a proud owner of a T & T Customs’ Trout’scaster that was built from reclaimed wood acquired from debri that was left from Bakersfield, California’s last remaining honk tonk, Trout’s Bar, after the establishment was destroyed by fire in 2022. Additionally, I had Tony Brown from T & T Customs give one of my fiddles a red, silver, and blue stripe paint job. His work turned out magnificent. Tony also gave my HD28 Martin a fantastic and well-needed fret job. You can’t go wrong with T & T Customs when it comes to instrument manufacturing and care. Bakersfield, California is known for its guitar manufacturers, including Mostite, Gruggett, and Hallmark. T & T Customs is keeping the Bakersfield instrument manufacturing torch lit and is holding it high. I am a proud customer of T & T Customs and am fortunate that the custom shop is located in my hometown.

One would almost have to be a "magician", besides being a musician, to do the incredible caliber of work Tony Brown, along with wonderful top notch designer, Theresa Spanke, do on a daily basis. When it comes to building, fixing, and/or designing guitars, Tony and Theresa's work is "BRILLIANT"! Tony did work on two of my guitars and the quality of his work brought those guitars from barely usable when I brought them to Tony, to the very top of the ladder quality when he finished. After 50 years of continual guitar playing my expectations have become very high in how a guitar plays and sounds.
My goal in ordering a custom guitar from T&T Custom Guitars was to imagine the perfect sounding, the ideal looking, lightest weight and most of all the perfect playing guitar for me. (not as easy as you may think)
I then submitted my request to Tony and Theresa as almost a challenge and waited with high hopes.
After closely working with T&T, some tweaking and fine tuning
I am now the proud owner of a T&T Custom 6 pound Don Rich Silver sparkle Telecaster with star markers in the black ebony finger board, tiger stripe maple neck with my name engraved into a silver pick inlayed into the back of the headstock. The highest quality hardware , state of the art electronics and the list goes on.
I have now had a good chance to road test this beautiful creation and found it to be absolutely the perfect guitar , needless to say, I LOVE IT !
I can not say enough about the quality of the workmanship and the honest customer service I have received from Tony and Theresa .
I highly recommend to you, a T&T Custom Guitar for your Dream Guitar.
